ANNIVERSARY CELEBRATED OBSERVANCE AT STRATFORD-ON-AVON. — British Official Wireless Service. RUGBY, April 24. The three hundred and sixtyninth anniversary of Shakespeare’s birthday was celebrated at Stratford-on-Avon Jn the presence of representatives of 30 nationalities to-day. The main streets were festooned with the flags of all nations, and a new Union Jack presented by" the King was released by the Mayor. Official delegates walked in procession to Shakes, peare’s birthplace, and later deposited floral tributes upon his tomb in the parish church.
