EARLY ANNOUNCEMENT LIKELY WELLINGTON, April 26. * In a statement to-night the Rt. Hon. J. G. Coates, Minister of Customs, said that he expected to lie able to announce the personnel and order of reference of the proposed tariff commission very shortly. The commission will be set up in accordance with an undertaking given by the Government at the Ottawa Conference that the Dominion will hold a tariff inquiry fot the purpose of finding out whether any industries are uneconomic, and whether m any respect the British manufacturer does not have a reasonable opportunity to sell in New Zealand
