FLIGHT TO AUSTRALIA
PRIZE MONEY INCREASED MELBOURNE, April 12. Sir MacPherson Robertson, who recently offered £lO,OOO for an air-race from England to Australia, has offered to increase the prize money to £15,000, suggesting that first prize of £lO,OOO be awarded to the competitor who wins, together with a gold cup, £l5OO to the second and £5OO to the third, £2OOO to the most meritorious flight regarding power and size of craft, and other minor prizes, also a special gold medal for every pilot completing the course.
