ARRANGEMENTS FOR MEETING The Hawke’s Bay Jockey Club’s autumn meeting will be held this year on two successive Saturdays, April 15 (Easter Saturday), and April 22. This should ensure a good attendance each day. It is a long time since a race meeting has been held in this district on Easter Saturday, and a successful meeting may be anticipated for the club. The prices of admission has been brought down to the lowest possible limit, and the totalisator facilities will w the same as provided bv most other <wibs — viz., ten shilling tickets and the win and place system of betting. The course is in splendid order, Caretaker A. Holmes having been assiduous in I’is attention to the track. There will be seven races each day, and good fields and good racing may be expected. Nominations for the two-days’ events close on Friday, March 31.
