LETTER FROM WALTON-ON-THAMES. y THE CARE OF OUR FALLEN. The following very kindly letter dealing with the New Zealand Military Cemetery at Walton-on-Thames, England, has been received by Mr ,T. Kelsey, secretary of the Hastings Rotary Club, from Mr F. W. Tlrurmott, of the Walton-on-Thames Rotary Club:— “During the Great War a hospital for New Zealand troops was established in this town, and many New Zealanders in consequence made an acquaintance with the neighbourhood and its people. Some of your countrymen, alas, found their last resting place here, and so we have in Walton a corner which ‘will be for ever New Zealand.’ “Thus wo feel that we have a link, with your country, and wo are writing in the spirit of Rotary to ask if we can bo of service to any of your members or their friends who would like to have news of any old acquaintances or associations, or if there are any who would lik e any service done in memory of those ivho made the supreme sacrifice snd who lie in that little, corner already mentioned. We should be only too happy to do what we could.”

When Mr Thurmott’s letter came before the Rotary Club at its luncheon today, the president, Mr C. Griffiths, expressed! the club’s gratitude for tho offer made by the writer, and handed the letter to the “Tribune” for publication so that, any resident, who may wish to do so may avail himself outlie offer through the local club.
