OPAKI HANDICAP TO LA POUPEE MACARA TO HUNT THE SLIPPER Masterton, Marhc 11. The Mastertou Racing Club’s autumn meeting was concluded to-day in brilliant weather. The track was fast and the attendance was only moderate. The totalisator handled £2917, compared with £4589 on the second day last year. The total for the meeting was £5821, against £5976 10/- last year a decrease of £3175 10/-. Late results: — Opaki Handicap, of 100 sovs.; 1 mile. 1/2 La Poupee (Voitre) 1, 3/4 Gay Court' (Wilson) 2, 4/3 Full Mark (Gray) 3. Also ran: 2/1 Arrow Lad, 6/5 Atholspear, 5/6 First Acre, 7/7 Capetown. Won by a length, Timo, 1.39 4-5. Arrow Lad and First Acre were the pace-makers to the straight, where La Poupee, who had been lying handy throughout, took charge to score smartly from Gay Court.
