The Lyall Bav Bowline Club on Friday won the champion of champions ring contest in the Wellington Centro competition, defeating the Victoria Club in the final by 20 points to 14. Lyall Bay has had a phenomenally successful season, winning the centre Christmas tourney, the New Zealand championship, centre champion pairs, and centre rink*. The club is in an almost unassailable position in the senior penfiant contest.
