VISIT OF SENATOR GREENE. MINISTER’S REQUEST FOR INFORMATION. By Telegraph—Press Association Wellington. Mar. 13. Regarding the coming visit of Senator Massey Greene to discuss the Australian and New Zealand trade relations, the Rt. Hon. J. G. Coates asks, in order that the Government might get the fullest information, that those interested supply the following information:— 1. Any goods or classes of goods respecting which it is considered (a) that the duties in Australia on New Zealand goods should be modified; (b) that the duties in New Zealand on Australian goods should be modified (c) that any of the present restrictions on the importation or exportation of goods or otherwise shoull be altered. 2. Any other matters which will assist in dealing with the question. Mr. Coates asks that representations ba made as early as possible because Senator Greene is arriving on Monday. Representations made before’ the Ottawa Conference will be used in the negotiations, but as the position respecting some articles has possibly altered since then, fresh information under existing conditions will bo approbated.
