MEETING OF SHAREHOLDERS. DIRECTORS’ POLICY EXPLAINED. A well attended meeting of the share, holders of the Hawke's Bay Farmers’ Meat Company, Limited, was held yesterday afternoon at the Favpurite Hall, Hastings. Certain matters of importance to the company were discussed, and the chairman submitted to members a full and satisfactory explanation of the reasons which had guided the directors in the course they had pursued in conserving the company’s large and growing business. After considerable discussion, it was decided that various questions raised be further investigated and reported on at the annual meeting of the company.
