DROWNING AT THE PORT
WATERSIDER’S BODY’ FOUND. This morning the body of a waterside worker named James Gustav Peterson, a singleman named 33 years, residing at 77 Waghorne street, Port Ahuriri, was recovered from the Iron Pot at a spot close to the stringers upon -which fishermen and others frequently sit. The deceased was last seen alive on Tuesday afternoon, March 7, when he was In his usual health and spirits. There are no marks of violence on the body or anything to suggest how the deceased cainj to be in the water. Au inquest will be opened at the morgue this afternoon.
