SIR M. CAMPBELL WELCOMED
DAYTONA UNFIT FOR RACING. FOR ANOTHER TWO YEARS. British Official Wireless Service. Rugby, Mar. 8. A fleet of 15 speed boats met the Aquitania with Sir Malcolm Campbell aboard off Calshot, and formed an escort into Southampton, where he received a great welcome. Sir Malcolm Campbell believes that after a few minor adjustments the Blue Bird could improve the speed record of over 272 miles per hour, but Daytona will probably bo unfit for motor racing for two years.
