DISARMAMENT
HITLER REFUSES TO ATTEND CONFERENCE. (Received 9, 2.30 p.m,) London, March 8. The rapidity with which the Euro, pean situation changes, mostly for the worse, is indicated by Herr Hitler’s and Baron von Neurath’s refusal to attend the Disarmament Conference. This is regarded as a serious slight upon the Rt. Hon. Ramsay MacDonald, especially as non-attendance _of the German Foreign Minister during the British Premier’s presence is unprecedented. Moreover, the French Premier is attending.
