BEATING THE EXCHANGE
INGENIOUS METHOD. £5O SAVED ON SALE OF EGGS. (United Press Association—By CableCopyrieht.) (Received 30, 12.30 p.m.) London ( Dec. 29. An unusual method of overcoming the exchange problem was adopted by a former Bournemouth resident who went to Australia as a migrant. He wanted to make the most of his limited means during a holiday visit to his home town so bought 100 cases of eggs in Sydney and shipped them by the Barrabool, on which he was travelling himself. He sold them in London for £lBO, thus saving about £5O on the normal transfer of such an amount.
