THE MARCH ON ROME
DECENNARY CELEBRATED. MAGNIFICENT NEW THOROUGHFARES. Rome, Oct. 28. The decennary of the march on Rome was triumphantly celebrated under the brilliant leadership of Signor Mussolini, behind whom cohorts marched through dense cheering crowds to open the Via di Colli as a Street of Empire, supposed to bo Europe’s finest thoroughfare, Reconstructed after the demolition of hundreds of houses. borne 13,000 war wounded participated ip the parade, over which aeroplanes flew. Signor Mussolini, Signor Baibo and Ministers led a procession to the Unknown Warrior’s tomb, where 3000 children chanted hymns. The ceremony terminated with a peal of bells. New thoroughfares now being excavated are portion of a grandiose plan requiring 30 years to execute and extending from Rome for four miles towards the hills and the sea. Workmen in .all factories are becoming Fascists.
