“TWILIGHT OF HITLERISM” NAZIS FACING DEFEAT. VON PAPEN’S PLANS. (United Press Association—By CableCopyright.) (Received 31, 10.40 a.m.) Berlin, Oct. 30. There is a general feeling that the twilight of Hitlerism has arrived and the Nazis are expected to lose many seats at the elections next Sunday. It is believed that Herr von Papen’s plans for the reform of the constitution include raising the voting age from 20 to 25, thus disfranchising about 6,000,000 and depriving the extreme parties—Hitlerites and Communists—of their mainstay, the young voter.
