Mrs Crawford, of Eltham, who has been visiting her parents, Mr and Mrs H, Fannin, Hastings, spent this week with relatives in Napier, Miss Audrey Hobbs returned to Hastings on Wednesday from Rotorua. '♦ • t • Mrs Nelson Fowler left this week to stay wjth relatives jn Masterton. Mr and Mrs P. *H. Burr, who have been staying with Mrs Mac Lean in Havelock North for a fortnight, returned to t.heir heme in Hastings today. • • • Mrs Ralph Paynter js on a holiday visit to Christchurch, Miss Flora Duff, of Hastings, who was farewelled by many friends to-day at the Hastings mail train, has accepted a position in Wellington in the head office of the N.Z. Kennel Club. Mrs John Kelly entertained the following lona Old Girls at lunch on Friday at the H.B. Farmers’ Tea Rooms: —Mrs V. Daniel (Palmerston North), Mrs J. Wordsworth (Napier), Mrs Wylie (Napier), Miss Jeanie Duncan (Otairi, HunterviUe) and Miss Sheila Grahame (Maraekakaho).
