RECREATION CLUB OUTING. Members of J. R. McKenzie Ltd.’s Recreation Club and their friends spent an enjoyable week-end at Haumoana. Suitable accommodation hayirig been secured, the party left Hastings on Saturday night. Sunday morning was spent in swimming and fishing anil in the afternoon the party picnicked at Clifton. The evening went quickly, an impromptu concert being held. Monday being wet outdoor activities were not possible, but a pleasant time was spent indoors until the hour arrived to pack up and return to Hastings. Though the weather was not as good as it might have been, the week-end was thoroughly enjoyed.
