THE WAIREBE CLUB THURSDAY RINK GAMES The Thursday afternoon rink games '>u the Wairere Bowling Club’s green vere played under perfect conditions and were thoroughly enjoyed. The results were:— Elliott, Unsworth,' Allison, Burt 12; Black, Spencer, McLean, McDougall 24. Kennedy, Billings, H. Ayling, Barr 18; Turnbull, Williams, Smith, Benton 29 Bayliffe, Gibson, Thompson, Fargher 20; Stocker, Shepherd, Carter, Runciman 13. The progressive pairs tournament played on Labour Day resulted in a win to B. V. Thomas, skip, and C. Duncan, lead.
