Questioned in the House of Commons regarding the Canadian Government’s attitude towards the antidumping surcharge based on the rate of exchange, Mr Thomas said that sympathetic consideration was promised to the possibility of reducing, if not wholly abolishing, the duty, insofar as it applied to imports to the United Kingdom,
