MOTOR CARS COLLIDE
ACCIDENT IN HASTINGS EXTENSIVE DAMAGE TO VEHICLES. A collision occurred at the corner of Lyndon and Bailway roads, Hastings, at 5.45 last evening between a ear driven by Mr H. C. Fox, of Havelock North, and one driven by Mr B. H. Rawnsley, a traveller from Wellington. Mr Fox was travelling along Lyndon road in the direction of Havelock and Mr Rawnsley was going towards Hastings, the cars meeting at the intersection. Mr Rawnsley’s ear came to res on its side about 40 feet away, fac>ug in the direction of .Pakipaki, In Mr Fox’s car were two passengers and in Mr Rawnsley’s one, but no-one was injured in any way. Both cars, however, were extensively damaged.
