Won by threequarters of a length, a head between second and third. Manitoba finished first, but a protect was upheld. INQUIRIES CONCERNING A TROTTER. By Telegraph—Press Association. Christchurch, Oct. 14. Inquiries are being made concerning the bona fides of a trotter that raced at a recent country meeting in Canterbury. Officials have interviewed ceitain persons and these have been asked whether they can identify the horse concerned. The- times recorded on the track enter into the investigation. WAIKATO HUNT CLUB.
