KING’S PRIZE SHOOTING
VICTORIANS LEADING. NEW ZEALAND EBB WIN TEAMS’ MATCH. (United Press Association—By CableCopyright.) (Beceived 14, 12.55 p.m.) * Sydney, Oct. 14. H. Nott and Dr. Searls (Victoria) with 196 each, are leading in the King’s Prize shoot at the end of the second round. Despite boisterous weather Dr. Searls picked up five points cn Nott during the day, to equal his aggregate. The Moree match, ten shots at 700 yards, was won by G-. Nutt (Adelaide) with 49; Shepherd (Mosman) was run-ner-up with the same score. Cromie was forty-first with 46 and won £l. Mick Simmons’ aggregate on the Phillip, Charley and Moree matches was won by Dr. Searls with 97 and G. Hill (Orange) was runner-up with the same score. Cromie and Carter were each 91, E. Ballinger 88 and Nicholl 87, and they won £1 each. The Brigadier Heritage Service Teams match was won by the New Zea landers Nieholl, Chapman, O’Donnell, and E- Ballinger, who took £lO, Mosman, Neutral Bay were runners-up. Twenty teams competed. Ten shots were fired by each man at 200 yards. The New Zealanders scored the possible hits in each heat. Their win was waimly applauded.
