BELIEF FUND TOTAL. By Telegraph—Press Association Wairoa, Oct. 12. The Wairoa Earthquake Belief Fund aow totals £1268 18/9, including a donation of £5O from Sargood, Bon and Ewen, Wellington. Up to the present 2000 broken joints have been located on the low-pressure water mains. A start is now being made on the overhaul of the reticulation in the town area, where it is expected that the damage will be as heavy as on the former.
