ANGLO-IRISH DIFFERENCES
DE VALERA CONCILIATORY. READY TO MEET MR THOMAS. London, August 31. The “Daily Telegraph’s” Dublin correspondent says that as a result of the report by Messrs O’Kelly and Lemass, the delegates to Ottawa, it is understood that Mr de \ aiera is ready to meet Mr Thomas again but wishes first to have fuller information of any proposals Mr Thomas is prepared to put forward. “The Times’ ” Dublin correspondent says that though no immediate development in the Anglo-Irish dispute is expected, the general feeling is that negotiations between the two countries will be resumed shortly. The whole country is anxious for a settlement.
