MISSING NEW ZEALANDER
INQUIRIES IN SYDNEY. By Telegraph—Press Association. Dunedin, September 1. In relation to Olive Halligan, the missing New Zealander, it is reported that she left her father’s home at Dunedin in December, 1928, since when her mother, while hearing of her, had not. traced her whereabouts. Recently her mother asked a Sydney inquiry agency to take over the matter, and yesterday’s cablegram is apparently thfe result of this agency having circulated Miss Halligan’s photograph to Sydney newspapers. Her parents have now communicated with a Sydney resident, formerly a Dunedinite, who has known the missing woman all her life, asking him to ascertain whether Miss Bentley and Miss Halligan are identical.
