CLEARING SALE
MR R. W. WILLS’ FARM Hoadley. Son and Stewart, Ltd., report having held a clearing sale on account of Mr R W. Wills, at the farm Norton road, yesterday. There was a large attendance of the public and spirited bidding for any cows just calved or close to calving, but late calvers were not sougnt after except at lower values. The pigs and sundries also mot with keen competition. The following is a range of prices:— Cows and heifers tn profit and to calve £8 5/-, £3, £3 10/-, 10/-, £8 7/6, £5 5/-, £ll5/-, £4 2/6, £4 15/-, £5 2/6, £4 10/-, £3 12/6. £3 10/-, £6 5/-, £4 10/-, £4 5/-, £6'ls/-, £4 2/6, £4, £9 2/6, £3 12/6, £7 2/6, £8 15/-, £3 10/-, £9 5/-, £5 15/- £4 5/-, £6; cows in milk, empty, £l, 15/-, 17/6, 15/-, £1; empty yearling heifers £1 15/-, £1 2/6; breeding sows with litters £5 and £7; sows to pig £5, £3 2/6, £3 12/6.
