SIGNS OF IMPROVEMENT
AUCKLAND BUILDING ACTIVITY. By Telegraph—Press Association. Auckland, July 30. Confirmation of the belief expressed by Auckland business men that signs of improvement, are apparent is seen in the building returns for July. Permits granted by the City Council totalled £17,351, as again £12,823 last July, and against £82,885 for the first six months of the year. Some of the permits arose from the Government’s building subsidy. ______
