Although the Unemployment Board’s building subsidy - offer has been open only one week, nearly IQO applications have been received from those desiring to take advantage of it in Auckland. This is regarded as a most promising start, and there is a good prospect that much work which has long been postponed will now be put in hand, giving employment to many tradesmen. —Press Assn.
