THE CONFERENCE AGREEMENT. OWNERS DECLINE TO MAKE STATEMENT. Bv Telegraph—Press Association. Auckland, July 9. On the ground that it was undesirable to give details of the agreement made at the coal conference in Wellington yesterday (see page 8) until the unions have considered it, the owners’ represntatives, who returned to Auckland today, declined, to make a statement.
