LEAGUE OF NATIONS LOANS
PROTECTION OF BOND-HOLDERS. BANK OF ENGLAND COMMITTEE. (United Press Association—By CableCopyright.) (Reeeivid 14, 11.45 a.m.) London, June 13. The Bank of England has appointed a committee, including Sir Austen Chamberlain, Viscount Gosehen, Sir Otto Niemeyer, and Sir Arthur Salter, which will be available in the case of need to protect the interest of bondholders in League of Nations loans. The appointment of the committee is regarded as recognition of moral though not legal responsibility.
