MUSIC ON THE All. PROGRAMMES FOR TO-NIGHT. 2ZL, HASTINGS.—The following artists will broadcast from Station 2ZL Hastings (Lockyer’s Radio Stores, Ltd) this evening:—Mr. A. Boyle (vocalist); Mesdamcs Wall, Smith and Miss McKay (instrumentalists); Mr. K. Theo. Starkey (elocutionist). IYA, AUCKLAND. —Following on the sports results at 4.30 p.m., Uncle Dave will entertain the children nt 5 p.m. At the conclusion of the dinner music, at 7.30 p.m., Mr P. W. Smallfield, Field Superintendent, Field Division of the Auckland Department of Agriculture, will talk on ‘‘General Review of Advisory and Experimental Work of the Department of Agriculture in the Auckland Province.” The concert programme will consist of gramophone recordings. 2YA, WELLINGTON.—The usual morning and early afternoon items wifi bo followed by sports results at 3.30 and 4.30 p.m., while the children’s session will be conducted by Jumbo. Following on the dinner music, a lecturctte will be given at 4.30 p.m. by the representative of the Agricultural Department on ‘ ‘ For the Man on the Land.” The concert programme will consist of items by Mollie Fenton, contralto, Mrs P. Ramsay, Nora Grey, soprano, and the Waiata Ladies’ Quartette. 3YA, CHRISTCHURCH.—SiIent day. 4YA, DUNEDIN.—Sports results will bo on the air from 4.30 p.m., after which the children will be entertained as usual at 5 p.m. by Wendy and Aunt Leonore. At the conclusion of the dinner music, the W.E.A. session will be conducted by A. Salmon, M.A., his sub jeet being ‘‘The Aspect of Education in Russia” (third of series). An interesting concert programme consists of items by the Dunedin Tramways Band, P. Mort ley Peake, baritone, Miss M. It. Kenwiird, contralto, and recordings.
