DEBT REPAYMENTS TO U.S.
AGREEMENT SIGNED BY BRITISH AMBASSADOR. (British Official Wireless. Rugby, June 6. The British Ambassador at Washington, Sir Ronald Lindsay, on Saturday signed the agreement for the repayment of instalments of the debt to America, which were postponed under President Hoover’s moratorium. The signing of the agreement was a formality necessary to give legal effect to the moratorium proposal and implies no decision on any question of principle.
