NEW ZEALAND APPLES
COMPETITION FROM AUSTRALIA. GOOD DEMAND IN LONDON. According to a cable message received from the High Commissioner for New Zealand, London, by the Department of Agriculture tho demand for New Zealand apples is good but prices are declining owing to large supplies of Australian in the market selling at 7/6 to 9/6. The Port Wellington consignment is practically cleared, and the Maimoa and Northumberland are discharging. Current prices are: Jonathan, Delicious, Stunner, Dunn's Favourite, Lord Wolseley, and London Pippin, 9/6 to 11/--
Hamburg prices: Jonathan, 8.50 marks; Dunn’s Favourite, 9.20 marks; .Delicious, 7.3() marks; London Pippin, 7.50 marks.
