NORTH ISLAND CHAMPIONSHIPS. MEETING CONCLUDED. The North Island championship sheep dog trials held at Ormond, Poverty Bay, were concluded on Saturday afternoon. Tho results of the two concluding events were:— CLASS 11. Short Head and Yard. P. G. L. Cups were awarded as follows: — Mr W. H. Gaisford’s Challenge Silver Bowl, for dog scoring most points in classes 1 and 2.—AV. Thom (Kumeroa), Speed, 984. Air Jas. Lillico’s Shield for dog showing best style of ring and yard in classes 1 and 2.—W. Thom. Rutherford Memorial Shield for dog or dogs scoring most points in one heading event and huntaway.—P. G. L. AlcKenzie (Broadwood), Haig and Scot, 95. Mr A. McLean’s Memorial Challenge Rose Bowl for dog scoring most points in huntaway.—E. Aylward (Gisborne), Ben, 43. J Air Donald McDonald’s Memorial Challenge Silver Cup for one heading dog scoring most points in classes 1 and 2, and two huntaway dogs scoring most points in class 3.—J. Donnelly (Havelock North), Sky, Sandy, Jock, 1564.
