WAIPUKURAU SALE SLIGHTLY IMPROVED TONE. FEW FATS IN SHEEP PENS. Th# weekly Waipukurau Stock Solo was held to-day in the presence of a good number of buyers. There was only a moderately large entry of cattle, and an average one of sheep, only a lew pens being fats. A slightly improved tone was revealed in the market, s.m. ewes being in good demand. The top price was 12/1 for a good conditioned line. Other prices generally were on a par with recent values. CATTLE.
