The Maratna from Auckland, arrived at Sydney at 7.25 a.xn. to-day. As reported in the “Tribune” yesterday the first shipment of new season’s export apples to be loaded at Wellington is being taken by the Port Caroline, which will also load a large consign ment of apples at Auckland. This is exceptionally early for the fruit export season, which usually commences in February. The Shaw-Savill liner Tainui, which is due at Wellington on Feb ruary 2, will load the next consignment of apples at Wellington, and she will also be the first vessel to leave New Zealand with this season’s fruit. The Tainui is to clear Wellington finally on February 10 for Southampton and London, and the Port Caroline is to clear Auckland finally on February J 3 for Londont
