SECOND ROUND COMMENCES EPARAIMA SCORE GOOD 217 At Wanstead on Saturday Eparaima and Old Boya met in the second round of the Central Hawke’s Bay Cricket Sub-Association’s competitions. Batting first Old Boys were disposed of for 78, the players to show any form being de Vautier 29, and Drinkrow 14. Bowling for Eparaima Nelson captured six wickets for 30 and McLean four for 31. Eparaima put on a creditable total of 217, the principal contributors be iiig Canning 50, A. S. Wilder 38, R. P. Wilder 25, Nelson 23, Board 21, N P Wilder 18, Wilson 12, McLean 10.
