The weather was again fine on Saturday for the continuation of the New Zealand croquet championship tournament, and excellent progress was maintained. The results were as follow: — LADIES’ CHAMPIONSHIP First Life First round.—Mrs Finch beat Mrs Walker, 26 —18. Second round. —Mrs Kibblewhito beat Mrs Finch, 26—16; Mrs Simpson beat Mrs Palmer, 26—9; Mrs Gambrill beat Mrs Moeller, 26—11. Third round.—Mrs Simpson beat Mrs Mouatt. 26—10. Second Life First round. —Mrs I'iffen beat Mrs G. A. Smith, 26—20. Second round.—Mrs Hadfield beat Mrs T. Simpson, 26—24; Mrs G. A. Smith beat Mrs Jarvie, 26—5; Mrs Pitcaithly beat Mrs Keys, 26—22. N.Z. OPEN CHAMPIONSHIP Second round.—Mrs Keys beat Capt. Hartnell, 26—23, 26—7. Third round. —Mr A. G. Ross beat Mrs Stallard, 26—3, 26—0. N.Z. CHAMPIONSHIP DOUBLES Second round. —Mesdames Stallard and Jarvic beat Mesdames Bartlett and Walker,227;6 —7; Mesdames Tiffen and Watkins beat Mrs L. A.
