RUSSIAN TRADE

INCREASED PRODUCTION NATION MUST CONSIDER ATTITUDE. LONDON CHAMBER OF COMMERCE REPORT. By Telegraph—Press Assn.—Copyright. London, Dec. 8. The London Chamber of Commerce, in a report on Russian trade, eiu phasises that the nations must consider their attitude towards Russia, whose enormous wealth the Soviet is rapidly mobilising. The report says: “It is impossible to cut her out of the community of nations, whatever her politics. The Five Year plan progresses in production so that Russia may in a few years be tho world’s greatest producer of oil, coal, pig Iron, steel, timber, chemicals, grain, sugar, furs, cotton and dairy produce. She may be able to undersell any country if allowed to continue th* present export policy. Britain cannot tolerate the existing unequal trade balance, especially when Russia’s payments for exports to England are used to buy tools from England's competitors.”
