Horse owners and trainers are reminded that nominations for all events of the Hawke’s Bay Jockey Club's summer meeting close with the secretary, Mr H. S. Moss, on Friday, December 11, at 8.15 p.m. MABTON JOCKEY CLUB. NOMINATIONS CLOSE ON FRIDAY. Horseowners and trainers are reminded that nominations for all events at the Marton Jockey Club’s summer meeting, to be held on January 1 and 2. 1932, close on Friday next at 9 p.m. The Marton Cup is worth 200 sovs., and will be decided on the first day. The Aidworth Stakes, of 130 sovs., one mile and 137 yards, is the correspond ing event on the second day. There are two open six furlongs—the Railway Handicap, of 120 sovs. on the opening day, and Telegraph Handicap, of 100 sovs. The hack hurdle race is worth 100 sovs. each day, the distance being about one mile and a half. There is a race on the first day’s card for horses that have never won an advertised race at time of starting. This is the Trial Plate, of 70 sovs., six furlongs. The New Year Hack Handicap (minimum weight 7.7) and Crofton Hack Handicap are each over one mile and 137 yards. A five furlong race for two and three-year-olds, with 90 sovs. attached, is provided each day. AUCKLAND TROTTING CLUB. HANDICAP CORRECTION. Auckland, Dec. 8.
