TRADE WITH CANADA
HON W. D. STEWART’S MISSION. The Council of tho Wellington Chamber of Commerce last night decided to send a telegram to the Hon W. Downie Stewart, Minister of Finance and Customs, wishing him success in his mission to Honolulu, and trusting that his conference there with the Canadian Minister of Finance would result in better trade relations between the two countries. The Minister is expected to leave by tho Niagara for Honolulu next Tuesday.
