HIGH SCHOOL v. HAVELOCK NORTH. This match was played on the High School grounds, and resulted in a win for the former by 29 runs on the first innings. Batting first, School scored 74 (Atkinson 25. Budd 11 not out). Craw took three wickets for 18, Withers two for 15, and C. Liley two for 4. Havelock replied with 45, the only double-figure scorer being Mintoft with 13. Leicester made 8. The School bowlers were Craig five for 18, Atkinson two for 12, Rcdward one for 3 and Budd one for 8.
