A grant of £lO was made by the Hawke’s Bay County Council to-day towards the cost of opening up the track to the Waipc l.i Bush, a public reserve on the Arapawanui-Tangoio road. It was described by members as being one of the finest watering places in Hawke’s Bay, and was becoming increasingly popular with picnickers. Cr. S. Bennett stated that the settlers were willing to assist in the making of the track.
