QUEENSWOOD SCHOOL
SWIMMING CERTIFCATES. The following certificates have been granted the pupils of Queenswood School, Hastings, by the New Zealand Amateur Swimming Association. They were won last season, and reflect grfat credit on the school and staff:— Certificate of merit, 880 yards: Marie Hennah, Joan Maddison. Proficiency certificate. 450 yards: Nancy Motrimer-Jones, Barbara Hallett. Proficiency, 225 yards; Marie Nation. Pamela Chapman, Ailsa Mackenzie. Learner’s .certificate, 50 yards: Janet Groome. Peace Preston-Thomas, Janet Bryce, Lassie Baird, Joan Hennah Battie Hennah, Nancy Georgetti, Enid Higginson, Mary Richmond Mav Mortimer-Jones. The certificates will be presented at the end of the year, when the school breaks up.
