CUP FOR COMPETITION. LORD BLEDISLOE’S OFFER. I Par Press Association.) Parliament Buildings, Sept. 26. The Minister of Agriculture has been advised by the Governor-General that if it would bo in any way helpful in encouraging competition in the grading, packing and preserving of high grade fruit for the British markets, His Excellency will be very pleased to present a silver challenge cup to ba competed for in 1931 and successive years at the Imperial Fruit Show in such a competition and subject to such conditions as the Fruit Control Board may determine. His Excellency’s offer has been gratefully accepted.
