The combined Bible classes of St. Andrew’s Presbyterian Church, journeyed to Waipawa on Thursday night, whore thev were entertained nt a very enjoyable social evening by the W-ijpawa classes. On Sundry next St. Peter’s day will he celebrated by appropriate ser”ires at St. Peter's Anglican Church. Wainawn this being the anniversary of the dedication of the Church. Arrangements have been completed with Mr. A. 1). Morrison, of Hastings, to deliver a series oi lectures under the W.E A., at Waipawa. These will commence on Tues-
dav July Ist., and the series will deal with “Glimpses of English Life and L.terature.” The lectures will be given fortnightly until September. The Tikokino Women's Institute held their usual monthly meeting in the War Memorial rooms, Tikokino. An interesting collection of family treasures was displayed, some of which aroused great admiration. Afternoon tea was provided by Mesdames D. Eddy, T. O’Rouke and C. Petersen.
