HAWKE'S BAY UNION. MANAGEMENT COMMITTEE. The weekly meeting of the Hawke’s Bay Rugby Union management committee was held last night. Present: Messrs. N. A. McKenzie (chairman), H. Brown, B. Tweedie, D. Corbett, W. O’Neill, R. M. Hewitt, H. V. Phillips, A. D. Lynch, A. E. Young, and A. W. H. King. Following on a protest by the Taradale fourth grade team against the result of tho game with Clive on Saturday last on the grounds that Clive played men who were ineligible for fourth grade, and on the receipt of a letter from Clive admitting this, it was decided to award the game to Taradale. The result of the game was originally a draw, but two of the players protested against were juniors. A letter from the Napier Boys’ Efigh School stated that, owing to an inter-school fixture to-day, they wished to have to-day’s games post-poned.—-Received. It was decided to postpone the fourth grade fixture, Pirates v High School. It was decided that the junior representative fixture, Wairarapa v. Hawke’s Bay, bo played at Napier on July 19.
