At the Hawerq Winter Show, which opened on Wednesday, Master C. W, MacFarlane, Hastings, was a very successful exhibitor, winning firsts for black red modern game bantam pullet, black rose comb bantain ben, black rose comb bantam pullet. diickwing game bantam cockerel, nnd black rose comb bantam hen in children’s class; second for modern game black red bantam cokerel, duckwing game pullet, black rose comb bantam hen. also for black rase comb bantam cock, cockerel, and pullet in the children's classes; thirds for black red modern game bantam pullet. and very highly commended for black rose comb bantam cockerel, also a cup for best bird nl opposite sex to winner of rose comb bantam cup. Master Hay Doggett. Hastings was also a prize ainner at the show, securing firsts for black red modern game bantam cockerel, and duckwing game bantam pullet, and second for black rail game bantam pullet.
