The many friends of Mr. and Mrs. D. H. McLeod, of Hastings, will be pleased to learn that their little son Hugh is making good progress towards' recovery from the unfortunate accident that befel him on Tuesday last. All danger of his life is now regarded as past, and it is hoped that he will shortly be tit to undergo an operation to restore the facial injuries he suffered. It will, however, be some little time before he can he removed from Roystou Hospital.
