COSY DE LUXE. So sensational a success was het first Universal starring feature, “The Shanghai Lady,” that Carl Laemmle, Jr., general manager, immediately began production of “Undertow,” the all-sound feature 'now being shown at the Hastings Cosy Theatre, with Miss Nolan again in the starring role. Directed by Harry Pollard, the picture shows such dramatic versatility on the part of the gorgeous blonde star, that a complete programme has been scheduled for her, in which she will play a great variety of characterisations. John Mark Brown plays opposite her in “Undertow,” with Robert Ellis, Audrey Ferris, Churchill Ross and other screen favourites in the principal roles. Municipal Theatre. The two pictures advertised for the Municipal Theatre last night failed to arrive and appears to have gone astray in transit. No programme could be shown last night, but fresh pictures nre on the way from Wellington. Owing to the rush no details are available but the titles nre “The Melody Man” and “The Murder on the Room.” They are reported to be gooil entertainment but no nartirulars aid available,
