So sensational a success was het first Universal starring feature, “The Shanghai Lady,” that Carl Laemmle, Jr., general manager, immediately began production of “Undertow,” the all-sound feature 'now being shown at the Hastings Cosy Theatre, with Miss Nolan again in the starring role. Directed by Harry Pollard, the picture shows such dramatic versatility on the part of the gorgeous blonde star, that a complete programme has been scheduled for her, in which she will play a great variety of characterisations.
